Time for an update - Discovery+

Clicked to launch discovery plus and presented with the following message on Sky Q

 

"We've  made some exciting updates to the discovery + app, Download the latest version of the app now."


There is no option to download the app it's basically just a screen with the message - I've refreshed the apps and carried out a software refresh but no joy.

 

How do I download? Any help appreciated

Is that definitely the Discovery+ app on the Sky hardware rather than on a smart television?

Yep it was on Sky not the TV - it's been updated now and good news you no longer have to sign it with the 6 digit code
