I've just had to reboot my new box 🙈. I've emailed a complaint and told them if it's not sorted I will cancel as its not fit for purpose.

I'm more sick of the hubby moaning about it  haha. It is a joke tho as some people pay a lot of money for a service that does not work. It been like this for well over a week now.

I really can't put into words my level of frustration now since my last post - this has been ongoing since 23 April. Even with a new box on 28 April, still the same error - all my recordings have failed - just say power cut or programme not available. Same with catch up to channels the error says technical fault please try again later. I cannot keep turning the box on and off from the power - it's been nearly 3 weeks of this and I'm paying a really high subscription and will be expecting some sort of compensation for basically not being able to use the service as expected.  
Why is it taking so long for the sky team to sort this out? It's really unacceptable.

  • That's now almost two weeks now I've had to reboot my Sky Q box daily and from this thread it's obviously this is a problem affecting loads of people. So when is this getting fixed as I'm at the stage now where I'm so fed up I just want to cancel my THIRTY YEAR OLD Sky subscription and chuck the box in the bin.

[Removed] Just had a lovely fella (Kenny), ive told him about this forum so he knows what's going on, he has now flagged it, he has nothing on his screen saying it is a Live problem so it has NOT been flagged at all. He's going to look into it and call us back within 24 hours.[Removed]

I know it’s frustrating when the Sky Q box is still having problems, and we really appreciate your patience while we get this resolved.

We’ll let you know as soon as there’s any progress.

This is getting VERY frustrating and inconvenient. If I'm out of the house and this happens my wife is unable to reset the box and can not watch TV.

Looking back at previous comments and posts NOTHING seems to be being done. 

 

Considering what this costs per month its shoddy service.  

 

Anyone know of a way to escalate this?

Morning Daniel, appreciate they are looking at it ,as have read the previous posts., but this has been ongoing for 2 weeks and no resolution. Not acceptable!

Sky need to find a way to temporarily get those affected onto the previous software version that didn't have this bug.

Have just got off phone to Sky Technicsl and they are sending a new box out. Hopefully will solve the problem

I had a new box on Monday morning, that night it did it again. I've made a formal complaint,  I'm now waiting on technical to phone me.
