The connection to the internet will not hold on the Sky Q box . Not using Sky broadband
Hi,
We had to swap broadband from Sky to Virgin as Sky could not make minimum download speed. We now have the Virgin hub in the same room as the main Sky Q box , probably 15 feet away. We have had to use a mesh system to get the signal around the house.
We connect the Sky Q box to the internet via the mesh system and everything is fine for about a day, two at the most, then the internet losses connection from the box. We have two mini boxes in bedrooms upstairs.
I've tried it without mesh system and still the same result.
It will often throw us out when watching Apple TV for example on the apps section.
Internet good and strong on everything else and on all devices except Sky Q box.
We did a device search and Virgin found all devices we use but couldn't find Sky Q box. It's a massive pain, every time we lose connection we have to go through the process of setting the box up again.
Do Sky and Virgin not get on?
Any help much appreciated, thanks.

I have the same problem but it happens every time I turn it on. I have to put all the Wifi setting in again which is a pain. One way around it is to pull the power for 10 seconds and when it comes back up it works. But the next day it happens again requiring a power cycle.
