The what is blank? Screen? Is there a green light on the sky box? Is the TV on the right HDMI input?

The green light is on on the box and it is in the correct hdmi port

What happens if you power cycle the Sky box?

 

And if you cycle through hdmi inputs on the TV, does it display the labelling ok (i.e. is the TV actually working?)
