TNT Sports

Hello. I am trying to watch TNT Sports 9 on Sky Q. When I've done that in the past, I would go to channel 410 (TNT Sports 1 - which works fine) and press the red button. This now takes me to Discovery Plus. However, I see a message which says "You'll need access to TNT Sports to watch this content." But I already pay for the TNT Sports Pack and TNT Sports HD. There's an article here which says that TNT Sport subscribers have been upgraded to Discovery+ Premium: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/tnt-sports. I've spoken with Discovery+ and they tell me that I have a standard account. They suggested contacting Sky. The "Chat with a Sky expert" is unavailable despite it being before 8:30pm. I got nowhere with the Virtual Assistant and I couldn't get through to a human on the phone... so here I am. Any ideas for how to get past the screen?

@WSOTB who are you paying your subscription to  are you paying Sky or are you paying direct to TNT bt or someone else. If Sky then Sky should have upgraded you to discovery premium and you would need to contact Sky if you are not paying Sky then it would be a TNT fault

I may be a Sky Superuser but I am still just a Sky customer

Hi Laing1 and thanks for the quick response. I pay BT. I'm talking to someone from BT now.

Hi @WSOTB I also have TNT sports via BT you will need to use your login details what you use to access your BT account via the Discovery+ app on your Sky Q box

Re: TNT Sports

Hi best+of+the+best. I'm probably being dumb here but I can't get that to work. I already have a Discovery+ account. I've tried signing out of the app on the Sky box. To sign back in, I have to activate it by signing into my Discovery+ account elsewhere (on my laptop) and enter the code on the TV screen in there. But that gets me back to square one. I've tried logging into Discovery+ on my laptop using the password from my BT account (it's the same email address) but that tells me that the password is wrong.

My gut feel here is that my Discovery+ account is at the 'standard' level, and that level doesn't come with TNT Sports which is why I see the error message. Having TNT Sports (I believe) is supposed to give me 'premium' level access to Discovery+ at no extra cost. So presumably smeone at BT needs to tell Discovery+ to upgrade my account. I was on a chat with BT for over two hours though this evening and got nowhere, apart from being told to expect a call from their technical team in the next five working days.

It's frustrating in a few ways but particularly that I've been paying for TNT Sports (and BT Sports before that) for years and never had a problem accessing the red button games on Sky until they've been moved to the Discovery+ app.

Re: TNT Sports

Hello,

It's look like that the TNT sports red button sends you to the discovery + app. That's a bit annoying, TNT sports mentions that has up to 6 digital channels (TNT sports extra).
is this happening to everyone?
