Two sky accounts in one home - adding sky stream

Hi,

I have moved back home after uni and want to get sky stream in my room. Thing is my stepdad already has sky in his name and wont add it on for me. Can I do it under a new account so there will be two accounts under one address? I dont want anything else, just sky stream. I tried online but it keeps telling me there is already an account at this address.

You can't have two TV accounts at the same address and you can't mix Sky Q and Stream anyway. If your family already have Sky Q your only option is for your step father to order a mini box for your room and a Multiscreen subscription if there isn't one already,

You cannot have two different TV set ups at the same address, so you can't have;

Sky+ and Sky Q, Sky Q and Stream, Sky+ and Stream etc.

Just get yourself a streaming device & a NOW TV subscription - you'll get all the same Sky content from it (in up to 4K HDR) and it's not tied to any existing Sky subscription. You can stream live free-to-air channels & on demand from the main UK broadcasters' apps.
