Suffering skyq issues weeks before the main outage

Hello, for weeks before and to this day, every morning when we turn on the tv we get a message along the lines of  'hdmi cable no signal please check cable' blah blah.

 

  If we unplug skyq and leave it for anywhere between 15 secs and a min then plug it back in we then get the 'welcome to sky' and it eventually cycles through the different screens and is all good again but next morn it happens again day after day.  I have check my Samsung tv to make sure the software is up to date I have checked the hdmi cable is in properly,  I have turned everything off including the tv and all looks ok until the next morn aargghhh its driving me nuts, any ideas? Thank you.

Not caused by eco settings then. Have you tried a different HDMI cable?

Hi D , yes we have tried another cable and just to mention we got the skyq box only 3 years ago.

Same as me, I am leaving SKY on 24th this month but would have been nice to use what I have paid for!

I am having issues with watching TV, using any apps, nothing is available. Can't watch any recordings either. Cannot get in contact with sky, rang the suggested number after going through the checks, was waiting for 6 minutes and sky hanged up! Is this another outage?

Couldn't get through to Sky, but have managed to get box back on line now by unplugging & after 10 mins plugging in then pressing home key on sky remote & back working.

Just need it to last next 26 hours before I leave.

Hey Daniel ,  I  Just came back to this to say Thank You! Intook off the Eco setting you mentioned and set it to 'none' just to see if it would make any difference and lo and behold that's 3 mornings in a row I haven't had to reboot/unplug the SkyQ box😀
