Streaming on channel5
The picture keeps buffering. I have switched off and on still buffers. Main box works fine. Mini box doesn't

I know you say "streaming", but can I just confirm you are talking about the 5 app and not the live version of channel 5?
Assuming you are referring to the app, do you have any issues with streaming via any other apps on the mini box or just 5?

Re: Streaming on channel5
I am talking about the app. The tv is fine. The main skyQ box is ok. Just seems to be the mini box

Re: Streaming on channel5
@Trevann Thanks for the clarification 👍🏻
Usual steps for trying to fix a problem with an app is:
- Hard power reset - unplug from the mains for at least 10 minutes then check again
- If still having issues, search the community for instructions on how to "refresh apps"
Refreshing apps can take 24 hours.
Not much comfort but the 5 app isn't the greatest in terms of performance and the mini boxes are quite long in the tooth these days as well, so underpowered compared to most devices.
Last couple of points, annoying as it is, these things have a habit of sorting themselves out and we sometimes never know why.
There is also still a decent amount of 5 content available on demand on Sky Q and you dont have to use the app, so double check you can't just download what you want without going through the app.

- Highlight "Settings" in the menu but don't select it
- With Settings highlighted press 0 0 1 Select.
- Select Apps then highlight Refresh all Apps on this box
- You'll see a message that says, 'Your apps are being refreshed'. This will stay on screen until you press Dismiss to return to normal viewing
It’s recommended waiting at least 5 minutes before doing so.
