Still not able to setup "free" apps on Sky Q

I have been a Sky Q user for ~10 years (12 years = VIP Platinum) and had Sky Cinema since start.  

 

Ever since the launch of Paramount+ on Sky, I have been unable to register and activate this service - been told Sky are working on it but nothing. Calls to technical help (both Sky and Paramount) have not been able to resolve this system error.  I cancelled Cinema for 2 months and rejoined, still nothing!  

 

Now there is also "free" Lionsgate app but same problem - unable to activate.  How can something in Sky's system be impossible to fix?

Lionsgate App can no longer be activated.

With Paramount plus all I can suggest is to make sure you are carrying out the procedure correctly.

Thanks for your reply - I was not aware about Lionsgate.  Point is really that there is something in the Sky system data that prevented me from using it, in the same way that it is prevented me from using Paramount+ since it launched on Sky.  I have tried everything possible with the same error (AND we are working on it message)!

 

About a year ago there were several people posting here with the same issue.  I don't see many now, would be interested to hear if they still have the same issue as me?  Feels like I am the only one.
