Still in Contract?
I am totally frustrated trying to find where I can verify what the position is currently on my contract with Sky. I need to know what, if any, early termination charges might be applied if I cancelled, and would the Sky Q Box be recovered by Sky. Any help would be appreciated.

Use the MySky app, navigate to "Your Products". All your contents will be listed along with the dates for each contracted period

@Ricardo44 You will need to speak to Sky regarding your first query as they are under no obligation to release you from your contract if your are still within your contract. As you say if they do allow you to leave your contract then there will be termination charges see the link below although the link might be out of date
As @Chodley says all Q boxes have to be returned to Sky

I may be a Sky Superuser but I am still just a Sky customer

Re: Still in Contract?
Thank you Laing1, but I cannot see what I want in the Your Products section. They show which contract packs I have, but I cannot see any contract details. Any other ideas?

@Ricardo44 when you follow the link and you get to where you can click on your Sky products after logging in, where you can see the products you have, along the top click on your name then choose my messages in my messages there should be a section on contracts

Re: Still in Contract?
Thanks to those who have tried to assist. I am afraid the Contracts section in My Messages does not help. It gives me a huge 32 page generic contract document which tells me absolutely everything I need, and don't need, to know, except the start and end dates of my own contract. I see that in the Your Products section it says "Already yours" against each of the products. I am now of the opinion that this means out of contract and therefore answers my query. Thanks again.

No, it doesn't. "Already yours" indicates that element is in the subscription bundle.
It absolutely isn't referring to either ownership of hardware or minimum contract term completion.
Q television boxes are never owned by a Sky subscriber: any payment made is a fee, not a purchase price.
In some cases it appears Sky is no longer requiring return of loaned hardware, though.

Re: Still in Contract?
OK, I was wrong! Thank you for clarifying. Perhaps then it is the very absence of contract end dates that indicates an out of contract condition?

I think there's some confusion here. Any dates against a product in 'Your Content Packs' represent the period that has been agreed for a discount, during which there would be a penalty payment due if you wish to cancel that pack. If there are no dates, then it suggests that all discount periods have ended, meaning that your 'contract' with SKY can be terminated if you give 31 days notice. At that point all services would end and all Sky Q & associated mini boxes would need to be returned (unless, as mentioned elsewhere in this thread, Sky deem otherwise)
