Starting my PC freezes SkyQ box

Recently, 20% of the time I bring my pc out of hibernation the main sky Q box will lock up with the fan going full tilt, any mini boxes will also lock up at this time. I have to turn everything off to get it working again. My pc and the sky box have reserved IP addresses on the router so should not be clashing.

That's weird. Wonder if that is related to what was causing my PC to wake from sleep by itself at night all the time until I disabled something in advanced power controls (wasn't wake-on-lan)

Sounds like some sort of broadcast traffic from the PC or its respose to such from the sky box is being handled badly by the sky box but good luck diagnosing that!
