Sound dropout on main event

401 dropping out every now and then for 30 secs - 1:30!!!  Not good enough Sky! Never had this problem when I was with Virgin!

Mine was ok last night which surprised me... seems to work ok when you go from hd channel 402 then select ultra hd.. never had this problem until this year so seem strange

I was one of the viewers having the sound dropping out problem back during the summer. The problem went away after a Sky contributer to this discussion said they had fixed the problem. I am watching the Liverpool game on Sky ME UHD now, my Sony TV says that the sound is "Dolby Atmos -DD+" and the sound is perfect.

Yes, I am the same. I am watching the Liverpool v Chelsea Game on 401, i have a Sony Bravia and the sound is Dolby Atmos Plus. The sound issue does seem to be resolved or at least much improved.

UHD is unwatchable with the sound dropouts ....HD is fine

Use 402 hd then use the uhd prompt and it works fine.. no sound drop out...

Liverpool Chelsea was OK first half but second half so far there's been numerous audio dropouts on UHD.

Come on Sky sort this mess out, sound dropping out every few minutes on sky sports UHD and lip sync issues on the same channel, completely unwatchable and you are charging me £5 a month for this !!!

Noticed it drop maybe 4 or 5 times per game historically.

Just watching Liverpool vs Chelsea, it has cut out maybe 8 times between the 2nd and 3rd goals. The 3rd goal was scored in silence. The problen has gotten worse if anything.
