Sound Dropout on Sky Sports Main Event Channel

so my take, i have an lg g5 and av reciver, i have sound drop outs via sky q, on TCL, ITV, UHD FOOTBALL, and some others, all cables are fine and work and have been changed to rule that out,  i have to change  to a diff setting on av reciver and go back to get sound again, if that dont work turn  everything off and back on again, is this sky messing with sky q to get use to start going over to stream, does this even happen using sky stream.

It's Sky and been the same for years. They will never fix it.  I for one plan to cancel Sky after my current period as the UHD is not worth it, especially with the sound issue and the low volume.  #SKYWONTFIIT

I'm aware of other users having audio drop out on specific channels but what I'm experiencing is drop out on all channels. It doesn't always start straight away but one it does, it becomes more regular.

It doesn't happen on recordings or downloads and you can stop it by pausing the broadcast, forcing the hard drive to take over from the live feed.

I should really get Sky to swap the box, as a way of proving whether it's the box or the broadcast signal....just need to find the time.

swaping the box will not solve the issue, i doubt sky care, sky q will be gone within 3 years, they want to go streaming service only, i have sound drop out issues with lg g5 happens on diffrent chans a lot of times on football and tcl, but others too, box swaped and issue still there

• When I connect direct to the TV or my previous Denon avr there was no problem. It only happens with my new Primare amp....but the fact that the issue stops when the hard drive comes into operation, makes me think it'd some sort of compatibility issue between live signals from the dish and my amp. Changing the box would rule out a Sky stb issue.

Just to add to the ongoing thread, I experience sound dropouts on live sporting events, whether that is on Main Event or on TNT UHD. Just so, so frustrating as in my case it has never gone away.
