Sonic 3 on Paramount + or not!

This is a bizarre one.

Today, we searched for Sonic 3 either by voice or by pressing the search button. The movie shows as available in Paramount + which we have as part of our package. We select to watch the movie and it immediately takes us to the Sky Store to buy it.

Now here's the bizarre bit. We've already watched this movie on this Sky box in the Paramount + app earlier this week. Perhaps more bizarrely, we started watching it today in the kitchen  on a mini box, but when we moved to our living room to watch it on the main box, it does not even appear in the Paramount + app. 

I power cycle the box. Search again and the results show it as available in Paramount +. I move down to select it to watch and it immediately takes me to the Sky store. 

I go back to the kitchen mini box, search for the movie in the main search, select the movie to watch in Paramount + and it picks up from where we left off.

I spoke to a Sky agent tonight who tried to talk me through refreshing the apps and then updating the main box software, which did t work.  That's when we power cycled and tried again. Which still didn't work.

Can someone else with Paramount + try this and confirm it's not just me.

Sonic 3 was removed yesterday (31st May) but returns to Paramount+ on 24th June.

Sorry but that cannot be true. As I said in my opening post, we watched part of it on the mini box in the kitchen yesterday (31st May), we were just unable to continue watching it on the main box in the living room.

Secondly, we are actually watching it on Paramount + this morning (1st June). It magically let us select it on Paramount + from the search menu this morning.

It has definitely gone from Paramount+, just searched for it on the website and only the first Sonic movie is currently available. but it is due to return on 24th June. I presume it's still on the servers as it's not worth deleting it when it's due back in 3 weeks so you may have been able to find a working link to continue watching, but for anyone who hasn't started watching it, it won't appear.

It never appeared in the search on the Paramount + app, but if you do a voice search or use the general search all on Sky it is there and it shows as being available on Paramount +. Try it.

Sonic 3 is searchable by voice/manual on my Sky Stream and plays fine  in Paramount +

It does seem to be another one of those within Paramount + that is not searchable content.

Must be a glitch somewhere in the metadata that caused it to go missing yesterday.
