SkyQ- recording to Dvd Recorder-Signal blocking

Hello to all, First time i think posting these questions.

1 on SkyQ if trying to Record to a Dvd Recorder there is signal blocking, i once had SkyQ and this Happened, is it true as i

thought though if you have subscription this is not an issue.

2 If you have SkyQ Mini as well as SkyQ and SkyQ Mini is hooked up to the Dvd recorder via Video Output you can Record from SkyQ Sky movies etc to Dvd Recorder.

3 An HDMI Splitter that Strips HDCP could be apprantely used if so how.

4 Why would someone want both a Skyq and Sky Mini and if i asked for SkyQ would i get SkyQMini, only so i could record to a Dvd recorder, would an engineer be able to help.

5 on skyQ😐 can you download ont a USB stick, and not signal blocked.

6 any advice on being able to record to a Dvd recorder., with SKYQ if so how, does any of the above work-please advise  as why get SkyQ if you cannot get to Record to a Dvd Recorder,  appreciate answers on all 6,  Grateful, thanks.

as per your other discussion, SKY Q uses Copy Protection - this includes the analogue output from a SKY mini (although it is possible that some programmes may not trigger it)

SKY Forums are not the place for anyone to discuss how to bypass any copy protection.

Subscription authorises recording to the internal hard drive of the main Q box, but nowhere else

4 Why would someone want both a Skyq and Sky Mini

To view Sky content on more than one television set.  The main Q box is the core of the platform, with Mini boxes as optional add-ons

and if i asked for SkyQ would i get SkyQMini,

Only if you added the 'Multiscreen' subscription supplement

only so i could record to a Dvd recorder, would an engineer be able to help.

No

Recording to USB will not work at all

6  why get SkyQ if you cannot get to Record to a Dvd Recorder,

Subscription has never made permanent archiving to an external device either legal or approved by Sky: it just wasn't possible to absolutely prevent this on previous generation hardware
