My sky has a message stating software update. This has been going on for 4 hrs and it's still on step 1. Saturday nite ruined 🤬

Sky boxes update automatically overnight, and there are only 2 or 3 updates per year, so this isn't normal. Is the message definitely coming from the Sky box and not your TV?

Hi @Deano6   It is not normal for a Sky Q box stating software update. Are you sure that it is from the Sky Q box and not from your TV?
