Smarthub 2 with Q, checking before taking the plunge.
I have a fully working BT Smarthub 2 with one extra BT Black Disc. The Smarthub 2 and the Black Disk are connected together using an ethernet cable, because they are at least 15m apart, but this arrangement gives excellent service at both ends of the property which is ~22m long. No plans to change this arrangement.
I am looking to go to a Q box with up to 4 mini Q. Initially there will be the Q box plus a mini Q at one end of the building nearby the Smarthub 2 and at the other end of the building 2x mini Q nearby the Black Disc.
What advice can anyone give for the layout and connections for a successful and working first time Sky Q system installation?
Thanks.

First thing you need to know is that SKY Q minis won;t connect via wifi to your BT wifi - if usin wifi they will connect to a wofo Signal generated by the Main box.
Peronsally I would suggest looking to connect all boxes via ethernet to your router or black disk (using non managed switches if needed)
