Skyq bbc iplayer issues

Hi, I have ben having issues with the bbc iplatey app on my skyq box. The home page cursor is very slow and jerry through the left hand menu causing it to skip past the selection such as selecting search . This only happens on this menu and page and is fine typing after this page. All software appears upto date and I've tried to force update the box manually.

Sorry spell check got my post. It's jerky whilst attempting to move up and down the left hand menu to highlight the selection in white.

Does anyone know how we can report glitches in sky apps?

Is it likely to be picked up on here?

I'm not really Interested in sitting on a phone call for an hour explaining myself to 4 different people and getting transfered to the wrong personally the way.

Is there a way of raising a ticket here?

Tried the apps reset and reboot as  suggested by customer relations but problem is still present. Have now been advised to telephone Sky support. Anyone fixed this issue yet?

Same issue here. It seems to be since the BBC added football as the second option in the left hand menu. 

Once you get to the content it plays just fine, but the navigation is like wading through treacle.

Yes, I also think it might have something to do with the addition of the new world cup football icon to the main menu. The problem was present for me a few days before this new icon appeared but that was probably stage 1 of the process before actually adding the icon.

I'm the same as you.

On email they suggested refreshing the apps which is accessible from a secret menu and checking for software updates.

Neither fixed the issue.

Mines exactly the same. It seems sky dont care very much about their subscribers, otherwise they would have fixed this.

I'd imagine that the iPlayer codebase is maintained by the BBC rather than Sky. 

Sky should have QAed it though before allowing this version of the app through.

Absolutely nothing to do with Sky, have you complained to the BBC? The final test for any software is releasing it to the public as the user base is exponentially larger than any in-house team. Everyone should use the link for viewer relations given earlier but ignore any recommendations to change anything on the box, that won't help but at some point they will pass it on to the BBC who need to update their own app.

If that is the case the BBC app works perfectly on every platform except Sky. You would expect Sky to drive any issue with them no their users
