SkyQ mini box installed behind TV

Hi, I have installed my SkyQ minibus behind the TV in a media wall and remote control on works when less than 4ft from TV. Does anyone know if/ how a magic eye can be installed  ? Thanks in advance.

Not a magic eye, as the Puck has no RF output socket to which it would connect. There are various simple infra red extenders available, which you would place in front of the infra red port of your Puck. I've used a PowerMid extender effectively in the past.

hi @Pete228

Is your remote properly paired with the mini box ?

Can you use voice control with it ?

When paired via bluetooth they have a very good range unless there is specificly something blocking / interfering with the bluetooth

Although my box is not specifically shielded it is an alcove behind my TV in my front room nearthe front window and I can use the remote in bluetooth mode from outside my back door - so through 2 walls/ rooms

Hi @Pete228   Bluetooth normally works several rooms away. Just make sure you pair the remote while the Minibox is in sight, because it initially uses IR.
