SkyQ box turns off with the TV, but then goes through a full reboot. Mini box loses connection too

SkyQ box & Mihi box. Samsung TV.

I can turn the Q box off & on with sky remote and all is well. Q box comes back on normally and Mini box keeps working.

However, as soon as I turn the TV off, the Q box shuts down completely. Also the Mini box loses all connection and is useless too. 

Power the TV up and the Q box goes through a full reboot. Every time.

I have disabled the HDMI link in the TV settings, I have disabled the HDMI control in the Q box Audio / Visual & in Preferences. But no change. 

Very annoying as no one can watch the Mini box once the TV in the main room is switched off and the time wasted every day waiting for the reboot, then waiting again for everything to load, 5V schedule, etc, etc, 

Help please?

Hi @Jon161   Are you saying that the Sky Q box powers down (not into Standby) when you put the TV into Standby? In theory, this is impossible!

Yep. This is what appears to happen. With the TV left On, when I turn the Qbox off with the Q remote, the light on the Qbox goes Orange and stays lit. When I switch the Qbox on again with the Q remote, all is good, the Qbox is all loaded and ready to use. I can also still use the Mini box as it should be.

However, as soon as I turn the TV Off. The Qbox light initially stays green for approx 3 seconds, then goes out. No illumination on the Qbox what so ever and the Mini box is none functional. Now when I switch the Qbox on with the Q remote, nothing happens, it stays off, no lights on the front illuminate, nothing, zero responce from the Q remote.  So when I now switch the TV on, the Qbox red light comes on and the blue Q illuminates, now it starts it's slow reboot from scratch. The Hello screen, eventually followed by the blue screen saying wait a few mins, then when this goes out, press the Home button, during this the Qbox light is orange.  Once the Home button is pressed, the Qbox light goes Green, and now I have to wait for the listing's etc to all load.

I think that covers the issue in more detail. 

Customer service just have me press the circular arrow buttons on the Qbox, Router and Mini box, which does nothing.

Any assistance you can offer would be very greatfully received. Thank you.
