Have you got mini boxes?

I have started getting the same thing in the last couple of weeks.
My Main SKYQ box is wired into Virgin Media box, so no issues with the connection. I will then see my connection dropping on my boosters and Mini boxes normally overnight which then means I need to reboot the main box to get them up and running again.

Yeah sounds standard. Maybe try turning off Eco mode on the sky boxes or use powerlines for the minis.

I have got the same issue. It is so annoying.
I have 1GB Virgin and it is superb, so it isn't the BB wifi.
The SkyQ box drops the WiFi connection at least 4 times a week.
Can anyone help please?

By the way the internet speed could be 10Gb and the wifi signal still useless. They are 2 differeht things. But I do think there is a fundamental flaw in the Q's wifi.

I've started having this issue since I received a 2nd Pod.
Turn off the 2nd Pod and the Sky Q box remains connected, turn it back on and Sky Q drops off. It does not seem to drop whilst it is on, in use, only when woken, say in the morning or early evening.
Not sure how the additional Pod causes the issue but I've proven this over several days of testing.
My Router is in one corner of the house, the Sky Q box is in the opposite corner diagonally and the Pod is two thirds of the way along the diagonal between the two, nearer the Sky Q than the Router.
I do not have any Sky Mini boxes.
Any help appreciated.

We also have this issue. We moved home in late October and took our equipment with us, except for a new mini-box which Sky gave us to replace what appeared to be a defective old box. We have a third party router and superb fibre wi-fi/internet (symmetrical 1000mb/s) around the house, but the Q box (and its 'slave' mini-box) keeps losing wi-fi connection and needs re-setting. Some days it is perfectly OK, while on others it drops out several times an hour. Netflix, for example, also keeps 'buffering' every few minutes on bad days. I can only also conclude that the Q wi-fi reception is dismal (which I have also heard from an IT contact). This seems to be a fundamental flaw which I find bizarre not to have been fixed long ago.

Something that has occurred to me - is it possible to use a mini-box purely as a wi-fi booster (i.e. not connected to a TV)? We have a spare at the moment and I could just plug it in between the router and the Q box. Would it need to be set up initially by using a TV connected to it?
