SkyQ box beeping
Our SkyQ box keeps bleeping even though and engineer has been and advised "the box doesnt beep only the remote does".
He then replaced our box and gave us a new remote, and yet days later, the box starts beeping again, (AND IT IS DEFINATELY THE BOX, as I took the remote out of the room, went back in without it and the box was still beeping.
Frustrated at this now.
It is also random and just when you think it's not going to do it again.....it does!.
Have tried ALL the suggestions that others have mentioned, to no effect.

Hi and thanks for the reply. There are numerous answers in the community that have had the same sort of problems and I have Checked them all. Including sorted out the the remote control and making sure that in settings/accessability/beep on audio is switched off.
Restarted the SkyQ box then reset the remote control after restart.
Thething I am most annoyed about is that the engineer clearly thought I was an idiot and telling me the box doesnt beep, when clearly this one they have given us does.
Don't know what else to say really.
Guess as a 73 year old I must be lacking technical know how.
That's not having a go at you by the way......lol.

I've never heard of the box itself bleeping, only the remote.
In previous topics people who thought their box was beeping found out it was something else nearby:

Hi @arlanda Easy to test, turn off the Sky Q box at the mains.

Just to add, ours got stuck on a red light (nothing recording, nothing scheduled) and then began beeping INCESSANTLY when I pressed the red button at front.
It is definitely the Sky box and it only began doing this in the last couple of days.
I did a full reset (switched it off, unplugged its power cable, left it for five minutes) and when I switched it back on, the red light was gone and it hasn't beeped yet.
Good luck - you're not going mad, the box CAN beep, but no bloody clue why.
