Sky wont come on, just says check device, i have checked all connections and disconnected the sky q

sky Q box is just showing check device, have turned everything off and checked connections all are OK,  have done this a few times and still not turning on , I'm getting the screen to press home button when it goes black and then instead of turning on its saying check device.

Hi @Lynne70 .

Have you tried pressing the Standby button (Amber led) on the front of the Q box.
If this turns the Q box on
With the Q box on with green led try completly resetting your Bluetooth remote.
Press and hold 7 & 9 together on the remote until it’s led flashes four times.
Then make sure that you are pointing your remote at the Q box and press 1 & 3 together until the led flashes and follow onscreen instructions to re- pair to TV.
