Sky to WiFi Issue
For the last three days our SkyQ box has not connected to our Sky internet. I have read many of the other sky community posts and had no success with those suggestions.
I have tried...
- tuning off sky box for 30secs up to 10mins
- turning off sky box and router for same time scale as above
- reset through the options on the sky menu, using the WPS button (and ive checked it was the right button)
- reset everything on wifi (only sky not connecting)
- turned eveything off on wifi other than sky
None of the above have made any difference so any further suggestions would be much appreciated!

@AJSC have you actually reset the router by pressing and holding the reset button for 20 seconds on the back of the router then using the WPS buttons to connect the box to the router just unplugging the router sometimes doesn't work
I may be a Sky Superuser but I am still just a Sky customer

I've tried resetting the router but still no joy. Is there a specific order to restart things in you'd recommend?

@AJSC completely rest the router as i said to factory settings then reboot your main Q box ie
putting your box into Standby then switching it off at the wall for 30 seconds
switch it back on then follow the on screen instructions
then any mini box
you may nave to go into the settings and reset the network but normally by resetting the router to factory settings works
if you are still having problems get back to us and we can escalate this to sky for you

I have tried that twice this morning and unfortunately it hasn't solved the problem.

Hi @AJSC
When the Network reset on the Q box starts its WPS light flashing Amber you need to press the WPS button on the Sky router within 2 minutes.
Make sure that you are pressing the WPS button the router and not it's reset button.
The WPS button on the router should flash Amber
