Re: Sky q
You need to check which main box you now have. You can have a maximum of 4 mini boxes loaned to you by Sky. You can watch Sky content on two minis and the main box at the same time. You may be able to use a 3rd mini box at the same time if you’re using it for one of the apps such as Netflix.
The original 1TB (non-UHD) Sky Q box only allows one mini to be in use. All 2TBs and the UHD/HDR 1TB permit two mini boxes. Each mini box which is loaned to you may be subject to a one off upfront charge but you only need one Sky Q monthly Multiscreen subscription.

Re: Sky q
Hi @aaronboy46 What is the hardware version of your new box? If it is 32Cxxx then that only allows one Mini box is use at the same time. If it is 32Bxxx then two.

Re: Sky q
@aaronboy46Sky often use the 1st 1TB box when people change from +HD to Q via the free upgrade offer. Sky have been known to supply this box when they should replace like for like. If this is the case all you can do is to phone Sky so they can supply the correct one.
