Latest Sky Q software version

Well if it's not the software update what is causing this really annoying problem ?  Impossible to watch anything because the box continually freezes, as described by others who commented above.  Luckily my TV has Freeview and I have an old Freesat box but can't watch any Sky channels or recordings because of this freezing problem.  Really thought my box had failed until reading all the similar reports above.

Yep. Had to turn off at plug for times in just over an hour. Have given up with it now. Had to leave it unplugged for the night. Hopefully will be resolved by sky tomorrow. So many having the same issue tonight

To resolve the issue
Go to settings > setup > preferences > turn off smart standby and set standby to active 

So far, so good for me, all the boxes are working again

Can't even get to settings. Won't let us past the no signal notice.

Turn off from mains. Plug in. Allow for box to load and quickly get into settings.

Sky Q box keeps losing signal restart good for 10 minutes loss signal

I found that after a SkyQ switch off, if I immediately disconnect the Qbox from the mains, wait 1 minute and then reconnect. The normal start up process begins and the box eventually displays the yellow light. If after a minute or so I then switch on from the Sky remote the light turnd green and  home screen immediately re-appears. It then takes the usual time to load the page up fully.

If I was watching a recorded program and select that , it will return to the start and not to where it was at the disconnection.

That suggests to me that the fault is an intermittent one that is short lived.

I've not mady any config changes on SkyQ and it seems to of fixed itself. I'm guessing Sky's reverted a feature flag to stop the troubled app.
