Same problem. I managed to get my main box to work last night by unplugging it but I can't get my mini boxes to work. Still the same today 16th May 2025

Sky q box
My tv went off on its own a few times last night. Despite my son getting it back on by checking all the wires ect the tv still won't come on. Tv tv is on but no guide. There is one green light on the box. I am at a loss and it's very annoying.!

Sky box turning off but green light still showing
My sky box turned its self off last night twice. And had the green light on but no picture. I've just seen on social media that it would seem this was happening all over the UK, Sky can you help ?

STILL NOT WORKING
Since my last message last night, the Q box and remote have not worked for nearly 18 hours . This is obviously a Nationwide issue, but Sky has not indicated what caused the problem or when it will be rectified. That is not good customer service for something I pay a premium for and have just had fibre installed.
I can't reset the box, it is locked out green light is visible, the remote doesn't light up, and I reset the Router, but it is still the same. Broadband is fine, but TV is non existent

Re: Crashing box
Like many others whilst watching a netflix "Honour" the TV just went off, the remote control wouldn't work . I tried new batteries in the remote to no effect. I had to switch off at the mains and the programme was restored but went down again after about 10mins and this morning it is just the same . The remote volume control isn't working . What is going on? Sky checking service on line seems to be saying there is no problem with anything !!

ours did it 3 times last night as well. it's been doing it occasionally for about 3 months now, but previously only once, reboot, then okay. Last night was ridiculous, between 9 and 11.30 pm..
