From what I'm picking up, this is a major outage and I wouldn't do any major update. Just in case you lose any recordings or series linked. A lot of news outlets reporting it, so hang fire.

Would be nice if Sky gave reductions in monthly bill as gesture of goodwill.

How long does it roughly take to crash from a reboot? My Sky Q box has not crashed for the past 10 mins  ... *touches wood* ... Software version numbers haven't changed. Maybe they've featured toggled off the troubled app feature hence the non change in version numbers.

Yeah it's the actual television output but it blew my PlayStation cause am on sky glass!!!

Same happening to me tonight. Every 20 mins or so switching itself off. I have to turn off at socket. Recorded programme I'm watching goes back to a point I've already watched. Gave up in the end, did the switch off and on, came to bed to watch on mini and guess what, 20 mins later signal lost, no connection to SkyQ box 🤬
