I am on the latest updated software version and I  have had to reboot 8 times in the last hour in Hertfordshire.

The Mail, the Sun and Dublin live websites are all reporting a mass outage though with thousands of customers affected. The least Sky could do is update their website service status or lan

We've been having the box cut out for the last couple of weeks. Only happened every now and them. But tonight every twenty minutes or so the box cuts off. Green Light on remote doesn't work and my tv is saying no signal and have to switch the box off at the wall for it to work again

Sky Q box freezing while watching a recording, 2 times after being unplugged and restarted, just watched 20 minutes of a recording and it's done it again

4 times for me tonight it has suddenly cut out too, no matter if watching live TV or a recording!

But I see now it is a National thing, thought at first it was just my connection - tried the usual unplug/reboot to try and fix it, and check all cables etc.

1 month free SKY as compensation to all SKY Q customers for tonight's shenanigans? Ah yes, dream on I guess.

Our sky signal is stopping everything 15-20 mins and we have to unplug sky q from the mains and switch on then it works. Please can you advise. Thanks

Wouldn't suprise me if sky's been the latest in the ongoing large scale hacking that's going on.

Hi my key box keeps freezing and the screen disappears so I keep trying to download software but because the screen disappears on the box freezes it Hasn't got time to download

I'm very relieved I've found this topic with so many people reporting the same problem as I'm experiencing. My Q box has been installed for 7-8 years and been absolutely fine. This looks like an issue at Sky's end.

Hopefully resolved very soon. 👍
