Blank screen box seems to lock up

The Sun on line has just said "Sky TV down as thousands unable to access shows"

Same happening to my box it just goes to a blank screen and needs rebooting to get it going again , had to reboot 3 times this evening.

What's even more frustrating is that when I run the system checker on sky app it says everything is fine with all my equipment and there are no issues in my area! Rubbish! Will be contacting Sky tomorrow and making a full complaint.

Same here. My box keeps switching off forcing me to reboot works for about 10 mins only to switch off again. Why have Sky not reported an outage anywhere?

Also now noticed that our Machine is revving loud and has just crashed 3rd time... now gonna keep on TV Netflix app. 🙂

Keep losing the sky signal to Tv .keep having to reboot the sky q box every 5 minutes

Same here according to system checker everything is good. Nah I don't think so

This seems to be a nationwide problem with Sky Q I am in Scotland and it has shut off 3 times in the last 30 mins and had to unplug and start again.

When it happens the tv shows check connection and the sky box has the green power light still on and is completely unresponsive and has to be reset at the wall. 

I first thought it may have been the firmware update (just shut down again as I am typing this) I did yesterday but since checking here it seems to be nationwide.

We need some answers from Sky now.

Not fully correct...it seems worse 🤣

Looks like i might soon bite the bullet and ditch Sky after 20+ years.  Looked into just streaming and more expensive than i am already??
