Sky q remote control

Hi my sky q remote doesn't work all the time as the spring that battery kept on coming out. Also the buttons are not raised enough. While I sorted it myself many times, but my little grandson picked it up and slipped out of his hand and fell onto the rug and the whole remote cosmetic apart and while trying to put it together but the buttons are just tiny bit raised and the broken spring that holds the battery has came off completely and now can't fix it myself.

the remote is so flimsy and slippery and scared to use and pair my upstairs remote downstairs as if it slips out of my hand and I would be keft  with no remote at all. As a gesture of good will to a long time customer get a replacement sky q remote or silicon backing free of charge.

Hi @CF12

Afraid there is not a silicon back for the latest Q remotes.

Check the following link and it will lead to a form for a replacement remote.

In the meantime if you have an Apple device with Sky Go you can set up a virtual remote to control your Q boxes.
See following link.

Re: Sky q remote control

I was told that I would have to pay £29.50 for a new remoter unbelievable
