Im thinking of switching my parents tv to sky Q after the buggy disaster of sky stream. They were very happy with sky+ so I'm hoping sky Q is much more like that and just had a question.
I see you can download on demand programs like you could on sky+ but I wondered if you can still access bbc, itv, c4 and c5 shows to download?

hi @skippy75
Yes you can download & record programmes in a similar way as SKY HD
Do note, however, that SKY Q whilst similar to SKY HD in some ways (like recording) is also different in others
I made some notes for people considering switching from SKY +/HD to SKY Q which give a little help in comparison with SKY HD but I am afraid doesn't compare to SKY Stream but may help with any decision
