Sky Broadband very slow. Can I use 4G router from another supplier with Sky Q

Got 4G router as Sky Broadband poor. Will it work with my Sky Q box ?

I wouldn't recommend 4g. Obviously if your speed is poor and you are trying to improve things it's an option. I would only go that route if it's the only option and your broadband can't be improved.

However I did have issues with downloads when using 4g. That issue mentioned round these parts where downloads wouldn't complete.

Hi thanks for info. Our broadband is poor because we are about 1 mile from fibre cabinet & Open Reavh won't say when they intend to connect to fibre cables which run past the house. 

never actually tried to connect the 4G with having Sky Broadband but obviously need to try because if it did work I could save the fee
