Sky q mini box won’t display channels

I have recently ordered my first additional sky Q mini box and when setting it up all the set up process seemed fine however when I select any channel I get the following " please check your subscription entitles you to view this channel on this box. Otherwise, If you're using this box for the first time, please wait a few minutes. "


tried to call sky was advised everyone is on essential training so no one could assist.

Having the exact same problems and can't get speaking to anyone either as they're all away training.

@SusanAsh123 @SelinaQ123 did you get the boxes from Sky and do you have the Sky mutiscreen subscription ?

yes this was brought from sky with the multi screen they have also sold me the untra HD package when I only have the 1TB box

@SusanAsh123 with your mini box problem You could try refreshing your viewing card by pressing home > settings > system info > viewing card number > setup > viewing card setup press select to trigger a callback don't worry nothing to do with your phone its only Sky's terminology this will be done over the internet 

If you have the newer 1TB boxes they are capable of UHD 

you can check what box you have by following the link below

My new mini box says the same...

Getting hold of anyone in Sky us impossible.

@SusanAsh123 I can escalate this to Sky for you but I would think it will be tomorrow now before it is looked at, or you could call Sky this evening.

If you want it escalating please let me know

just spoke to Sky, had to knock off the main box and mini box, go into settings on the main box, ....mini box...reset...

And all are working fine now.

Yes I have tried that a number times now however it hasn't resolved my issue.

Just to be really clear, including the mini box reset in settings?
