We had the internet go down around 3 weeks ago, ever since the sky q mini box has stopped working. You can only turn it on when pressing the main button on the mini box, however when it starts the screen comes up saying accessibility on sky q and the remote will not work to allow me to press skip and set up later. The remote turns the tv on and change the input from HDMI etc And volume works but won't let me continue from the set up page. Tried new battery, pressed and held 7 +9, 1+3 , reset the sky q mini box and main box, re synced the main box to sky q mini, pressed and held the reset button while turning the power back on until the lights flashed, left it off over night, left it on all day. Still no joy

Reset your mini remote by pressing and holding 7 & 9 together on the remote until it’s led flashes four times.
This will set it to infrared which will work all Q boxes. However the remote must be pointed directly at the mini box.
Switch your mini box back on and you then you should be able to get past the Accessibility screen
Once you get the mini working make sure that you are pointing your remote at the mini box and press 1 & 3 together until the remote led flashes and follow onscreen instructions to re- pair.

Thanks for the response but I've tried exactly that, pointing the remote direct at the box but nothing, held it upto 30 seconds to 3 mins remote will not flash red.

Hi @Jason1231
Your post says you pressed 7 & 9 and 1 & 3.
My post says press and hold 7 & 9 until the remote flashes 4 times. (And not press 1 & 3 until you clear the message)

I have turned the tv on with the remote, pressed the standby button on the mini box to turn it on then pressed 7&9 together but no lights flash on the remote to signal a re set. The remote is pointed directly at the mini box. Tried holding 7&9 with the box in standby, with the box on, tried pressing 7&9 held down for different amounts of time. The remote will not work

OK @Jason1231
You don't need the mini on or point the remote at the mini to reset the remote.
Regardless if the led doesn't flash then there is something wrong with the remote.
Try pressing 4 & 6 together to see if the led flashes

Ok, I might just order another remote to try, I've tried 7&9 also 1&3 in every combination mentioned on here, Google and YouTube. Strange it's only since the WiFi problem. The red light on the remote flashes if I press the ? Button.

Also 4&6

What about 4 & 6 @Jason1231 ?
Edit
OK our posts crossed.
You can also try resetting your main remote to infrared (just the 7 & 9) and see if this will work your mini box
