I've got the same problem... @Greenfingers001 either the main Q box or mini disconnects from wifi and then have to reset both - happens a few times a week. Is there any way of fixing this?

Both boxes keep disconnecting from wifi, getting really hacked off. Same issue as above, seriously considering cancelling and going with NOW TV

I'm getting this too, almost every day it tells me I have no connection.
Sky internet but using other branded AP's
Never had it before, presumably a problem from a recent update??

Im having the same problem. By skyQ box has disconnected 5 times today I have tried everything from unplugging at the wall, reconnecting and even resetting my router. It connects for 5 minutes then disconnects again. Every other device iny house is still connected. It is really annoying.

Hi
It did resolve temporarily, but returned recently with a vengeance so I ended up connecting it via ethernet rather than relying on WiFi and everything now stable.
Just for info for other people

That's ok if your router is close enough. We shouldn't have to buy adaptors and stuff to solve an issue that sky will not admit they have.

Mine has started the same this week last night had to reconnect 3 times in 20 mins only noticed as was watching a program on prime and it kept stopping but has been happening every night this week. Other than hard wire with ethernet cable has anyone had it fixed??

I spent some time with sky support going through the "open a private chat" on a separate message. After I explained my setup (great mesh wifi all over the house and everything else working fine, sky box losing the wifi credentials, mini box losing the connections etc), switching to "ECO" on both boxes, blah, blah, the only thing that they suggested was switch everything off for 10 minutes and then switch everything back on again and see if it happens again.... so I've done that and it hasn't happened for a few days....

Hi I've ended up using a tp link adapter that I already had and it hasn't dropped at all since so hoping this has fixed it. When I had sky broadband it never happened my thinking is because I've moved from sky the sky q only really works well when on their connection.

I've had this solved I'd downgraded my package but who did the downgrade hadn't updated my sky q card once he did it hasn't happened since. If you have had any changes on you sky you need to ask them to check that the card has been update to the new package your on. Hope this helps anyone who reads it
