Hi, i'm by no means a technical expert here but was hoping to see if anybody had encountered similar issues and managed to resolve them.
we have Sky Q with 2 mini's
then have virgin media using a hitron router.
Have had a recurring issue where either the mini's lose connection and/or the main box loses network connectivity.
after 2 hours on the phone to sky last Friday finally got thru to somebody who really sounded like they knew what they were doing, we factory reset the boxes and changed the frequency for them to 5.0ghz all was fine until today (minis not connected and main box no network)
the guy on the phone had said if the issue arose again it was probably an IP issue with the router, so my question is does anybody know how to look into that or do I need to call sky again for 2 hours to get thru to technical support?
