As the title suggests, everytime I turn my sky q box (and TV with the sky remote) on, it shows the default TV "no signal hdmi 1" screen until the hdmi is unplugged then replugged into the sky q box. This was never an issue before when we had an older 1tb Q box, but since upgrading to the 2tb 4k Q box this has happened every single time.
Any fix would be great as it's starting to drive us crazy 🙂

Hi @EsJoe22
Are you turning on the TV with the Q remote (long press) or are you using HDMI Cec control and just turning on the Q box (short press on the Q remote)?

We generally turn on using the short press on the Q remote which turns both the box and the TV on. Usually using the home button on the remote. This has always worked in the past

OK @EsJoe22
so the TV is switching on by HDMI Cec control.
I know the Home Hutton and also the Sky button will switch on the Q box but try using the correct Standby button on the Q remote (one short press).
Just to make sure that this doesn't make any difference.
How do you put the TV into standby?
Have you normally been watching Sky on the TV when you do this?
