Sky q box is damaged

How were they damaged?  As it's Sky's equipment they may not simply replace it for 'free' depending on how the damage occurred...

Note this from the contract, "You must not dispose of loaned equipment and we recommend you insure it against loss, theft or damage for the full replacement value."

If Sky agree to swap the box it'll probably be via a 'doorstep box swap' whereby a courier company (usually DPD in the UK) deliver a new box and take your pre-disconnected faulty box away so remember to remove the viewing card from the old box before it disappears into the van.
