Sky q bedroom issue

There was an update a few months back and since then my sky q box in the bedroom is not working properly.  It doesn't always do as you ask it too especially fast forwarding and rewinding it stops where you don't want it too or it jams. It's always jerky. I've unplugged it and reconnected but it's still the same. Even changing channel can be problematic. It takes a while to adjust to the channel.

@Mandytrouble14 Have you tried rebooting your main Q box ie
putting your box into Standby then switching it off at the wall for 30 seconds
switch it back on then follow the on screen instructions

then

reboot the mini box

My friend advised me to do this so I have twice and it's still the same all jerky and taking ages to change channels. No idea what else to do.

@Mandytrouble14 how far away is the mini box from the main box
