Re: Sky new package
What are you moving from and to? If you're upgrading from Sky+ to Sky Q the engineer will have to work on the dish outside and then have entry to test the equipment works okay. Perhaps when he/she calls (hopefully) to say they are on the way your daughter can be in another part of the house with another family member to offer reassurance.

Aww thank you for your reply .. she has contamination OCD so it is a fear of germs and no one comes in our home except health officials.. we live in an upstairs flat so I have no way of moving her anywhere .. she doesn't leave her bed .. engineer will have to come past her bedroom door so it's causing massive problems.. thank you for your help .. I rang sky and they told me the engineer will have to come into the house .. thank you

Re: Sky new package
It's not impossible to carry out some Q installations without entering the property: Sky managed this during the pandemic. What can be done does depend on the nature of the work required though.

Re: Sky new package
Thank you for your message .. I can only try and explain to him once he comes, our situation and see if it can be limited the time he is in our home .. I did ask if I could do it myself but they said he will have to do it .. she's just very unwell and already it is causing her massive meltdowns .. I can't even have family in my home and they haven't been in here for 2 years .. we will have to see what happens .. thank you so much for your messages
