Have you tried rebooting your Q box?
To reboot press Standby on your Sky Q remote (if the box responds to the remote), and then switch off and unplug at the mains.
Wait at least 30 secs and then Plug back in and switch your Sky Q box back on at the mains.
Wait for the on screen instructions to disappear and the front led to turn Amber. Then wait for 30 secs before you press Home on your Sky Q remote or if this is not working press the standby button on the front of the Q box (Amber led)
note: some features may take up to 5 minutes to return.

I do this as a minimum once a week - why - it is ridiculous - I pay enough for this not to happen and it takes ages to fix!

Is this seriously going to get fixed!!? Once a week I have to restart to get it working. Joke!!! Been an issue for months now.

I do this as a minimum twice a week @Sky. Driving me mad. I've done everything suggested above. For the amount of money I pay I don't expect to be fixing as often as I do!
why is it happening and when will it be fixed.

When is this going to be fixed? It's not acceptable and I'm now considering leaving as I've had enough. It can't even do a simple thing like record a series or show you what's on. Think I'll go back to recording them on a hard drive and use Netflix and Disney Plus, and save myself a fortune
