Sky multiroom box

Hi, I have an outdoor man cave and I am trying to put a multiroom box in there.

it is about 50m from the house and it won't connect via wifi.
if I hard wire it then what cat Ethernet cable do I need to maintain good speeds ?
Is a cat6 cable good enough or do I need a cat8 ect ? As I can't seem to source anything over a cat6 in 50m length

many thanks Jonsie

Cat5 is fine for Q, and realistically for any other domestic network requirements: it's quite capable of gigabit up to 100 metres, and you're very unlikely to have devices with better than gigabit ethernet chipsets.

A Q Mini box never demands more than about 10Mbs, while a Stream puck doing UHD/HDR is 30Mbs at most.

Sky Glass 55" (on ethernet) & two Stream Pucks (one ethernet / one WiFi)
BT Halo 3+ Ultrafast FTTP (500Mbs), BT Smart Hub 2
