Sky max hub ethernet to sky Q mini...is it possible?

Good morning all. Not technically minded so please excuse my ignorance. 

Current setup: have full sky package- broadband, Q and 2 minis. One mini is connected on WiFi, other is in a bit of a dead zone. Had various boosters and engineer visits but it is now hardwired via ethernet cable to the black sky hub. Performance is much better, though sometimes still sticky and stalls on this mini. Mini been replaced twice as has main Q box.

Looking at upgrading to full fibre 900 but does this only come with white max router, and if so is this compatible with current setup? Read lots of contradicting reports and one engineer said the new white hubs were "awful".

Can the 1 problem mini defnitely still use the ethernet connection to the new white hub if we upgrade, or would it only connect on WiFi  to Q box, which we know doesn't work well there? The main sky Q box is also hardwired to the current hub. Don't want to upgrade to find it takes us backwards! Hope that makes sense, thanks in advance

Ethernet will be fine. It can't connect to the hub via wifi, has to be direct to another mini or the Q.

Also the current mini that works fine might be using the existing hub via wifi to trach the Q and that won't be possible with the white router. Has to be direct like with 3rd party ISPs... which I can assure you is fraught with emotion.

Ah, so the problem mini connecting on ethernet will be ok, but the currently good one may not? Just realised we have a white booster box half way between the main Q/hub and the good mini....so if I understand correctly the booster won't work with the mini? It is not possible to hard wire the good mini sadly. Sounds like I might improve one area but compromise another?

If it's a Q booster it should still work
