Sky isn’t working

I was on holiday with my Mum staying at mine and she told me sky wasn't working for the past 3 weeks. I thought she was just being silly and not using it right but it's not. I've refreshed the sky box. I even changed the batteries in the sky remote but the remote is working to change input so I can go off sky and use my tele but the tv is just stuck on a Netflix page on sky the home button changes nothing. I can't watch sky or any of my recordings or anything.
