Sky channels not available

Hi all.

 

Every evening this week the Sky channels are not available after approx 9-9:30.No Sky Arts, SKy MAX etc. Just error message on screen. CNN also not availalbe. BBC and some other channels are available

 

Next morning all channels available as normal.

 

I have read other posts about error messages, reset the box, unplugged for minutes etc. Chacked the broadband( not Sky broadband) all working fine.

 

Do i need a new box or does anyone have any ideas?

@Shinzers  If you have Sky Q then the live channels are delivered over satallite and is not affected by broadband, so resetting your router won't help.

 

If it's keeps happening at the same time it's likely a local issue affecting the dish/lnb so I would give Sky a call.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

What error messge on screen are you getting?
Looks like you have tried some obvious restarts etc.

Interefence can in rare cases sometimes effect the Sky boxes, and maybe something is causing interefrence at that time period.

Follow the advice laid out in this Sky help article first and if at the end your problem still exists there is the ability to book an enginner visit via an online link.
