Sky have told me that they are longer sending software updates to my hd box and I have to have Sky Q

I can't have Sk Q because of the wifi position in my house.  What am I supposed to do?  Sky Stream doesn't look good enough after having a Sky box.

@Vivienne+Lane  Whilst they are no longer providing software updates, a Sky+HD box will continue to work for live tv for the foreseeable future 

 

if you can view channel 5 in hd on 105, you don't necessarily have to upgrade

@Vivienne+Lane Sky Q doesn't use WiFi to access live TV you still get that from a satelitte signal Sky Q only use WiFi foe on-demade and for using any apps on the box, Sky stream is the product that uses WiFi for watching/streaming live TV 

If you have a Sky+HD box this will still work and many on the SSky+HD boxes are still using them
