Yesterday I received an email from Sky Offering a free Sky Store Movie due to a disruption to Sky Q services that occurred on May 15.
We were on holiday and returned yesterday and our Sky Q box was in standby mode and several recordings we had set on the Sky Go app whilst away have not recorded. 
I rebooted the box last night and all is working well now apart from the missed recordings. 
Anyway, I followed the email instruction to download the movie from the Sky Store but there is no 'Your Sky Store Gift on us' tile as described in the instruction. 
Can anyone please advise?

Like many (all?)  Sky Q customers I received an email from Sky applogising for their recent technical problem.

The email said they are giving me a free movie and that I should go to Sky Store and click on "Your Sky Store gift on us".

There is no option or button labeled like this.

Any ideas why, or what i need to do to get the free movie?

I received the email saying I was given a free gift off a movie but there is no sky store gift on us option on my sky store to redeem the gift?????

Funny. I received a text from sky shortly after the event. I even reported it on the community site the night it  happened. Where's my email from Skyand free gift ?????

They gave you a free film from a specific, limited selection, they will have charged you if you chose something else. What did you buy?

I got the free movie. 

just went to the Sky Store and selected which movie I wanted to watch. 

I've already watched it now called It Ends With Us.

For anyone still looking for the free movie offer it has moved from the top row and is now in the second row of Sky Store under "Top Picks" (so even harder to find).
