Moving to sky glass

Thinking of moving to sky glass and wondered what happened to my sky disc? Will someone remove it?

also I don't understand re ownership of the tv ... if it's only £10 upfront when do we own the tv? Does this mean once the tv is paid off the subscription monthly payment will go down?

Sky will not remove the satellite dish. That is your property. It you want it removing you will have to do it yourself or you could get a local handyman to do it for you.

hi @Amy1333

SKY don't remove dishes - it is yours to do as you wish and you can remove it yourself or get a handyman to remove it. It doesn't need to be a Satellite specialist.

We do, however, recommend that you do not this until you are sure you won't return to SKY Q as some people find Glass/Stream not quite the same for them

You 'own' the TV as soon as you enter into a credit agreement to purchase it. The monthly cost of the TV is in addition to the streaming channel subscription cost, so once you have paid for the TV you only need to pay for the streaming subscription. Depending on your contract you can cancel the streaming subscription too & just use Glass as a big dumb monitor with some Sky-controlled apps on it.
Make sure you understand how Glass works - it's a very different type of service to Sky+ or Sky Q.

Or if you left the dish where it is can be used for Freesat TV.Saves paying for another dish to be put up.

If you want to use the dish for freesat you either need the 4K freesat box or have the LNB in the dish changed for one that will work with the other freesat boxes.
