Sky coming to install in new home but my internet is down. Can they still install?
Hi.
we have moved in to our new home over the weekend and are transferring over our sky from our old house to the new.
The engineer is due out later this afternoon but we are having problems with our internet (BT) and this will not be resolved in time before the engineer is due.
Can the engineer still install the sky Q box so TV is up and running or is this not possible without internet ? Too late to rearrange my appointment now.
Thanks

@Seno As this is not a Sky Broadband related query you post has been moved to the correct board for Sky Q.
Sky Q can still be installed even if brioadband is down as all your live TV is delivered by satellite not broadband, however alll your on demand & catchup won't work beacuse you need a broadband connection.

Hi @Seno I assume that the box is already activated (from your old home), so the chances are good.
